This song crawled its way into my head this week and it’s probably going to stay for a little longer. Calista Garcia sounds like a female Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) so what’s not to like.

“I wrote “Deep Blue Diving” as an expression of radical optimism. Optimism, not because life is full of sunshine and rainbows, but rather in spite of how tough it can be. We can shake our fists at the sky and ask, “Why, why, why?” while still knowing on some level that everything happens for a reason.
