Kimia Farma plans to officially open an individual Mutual Assistance Vaccination (VGR) clinic on Monday (12/7/2021). This is in line with the results of research conducted by several institutions which noted many requests from community groups who wish to vaccinate individually in order to immediately receive personal health protection.
Deputy Minister of SOEs Pahala N. Mansury stated that Individual Mutual Cooperation (VGR) vaccination can accelerate the formation of communal immunity (herd immunity) so that national economic recovery can run faster.
“Kimia Farma as part of the Pharmaceutical BUMN Holding is committed to collaborating and synergizing with all parties to accelerate national vaccinations, both through corporate and individual mutual cooperation,” he said while reviewing the implementation of Individual VGR at Kimia Farma Clinic Senen, Saturday (10/7/2021 ).
This individual mutual cooperation vaccination is in line with the Regulation of the Minister of Health (Permenkes) No. 19 of 2021 concerning amendments to Permenkes No. 10/2021 concerning the Implementation of Vaccination in the Context of Combating the Covid-19 Pandemic.
President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk. Verdi Budidarmo explained that now is the right time to vaccinate individuals, due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia. In the early stages of this program, it only touched 6 cities with 8 clinics. But slowly KF will expand its reach, including to shopping centers in big cities.
“After running the company’s Mutual Cooperation Vaccination, Kimia Farma provides a new option for people who want to vaccinate themselves. We are ready to provide individual vaccination services through our clinics throughout Indonesia. In the first phase, we have only provided this service in eight clinics in Indonesia. Java and Bali,” he explained.
