Start-up-oriented introduction to business administration – How to start a Startup (HTW)

How does a company work? How do you found a startup? What does self-employment mean?

The lecture series is aimed at all students who are interested in how a company is structured and how business processes work in a company. In addition, the lectures provide a broad basic knowledge. The topics are chosen in such a way that all essential business areas are covered, which start-ups and entrepreneurs have to deal with. Participation in the lecture series does not require that you are already self-employed or that you intend to set up a business / company succession.

The lectures have workshop character, which means that you are actively asked to participate in the development, the arc of tension and the transfer of knowledge of the 90 minutes through your own questions and thirst for knowledge. The events usually consist of two parts: First, the “Tooltime” – here we develop the basic tools that you need to assess business relationships. And secondly, the practical application to a case of a real company.

The lectures take place in the Period from October 13th, 2021 to February 2nd, 2022, weekly on Wednesdays from 6:40 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. Depending on what awaits us on the corona side, the events take place face-to-face or online via Zoom.
