The Rolling Stones, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift perform alongside numerous other international stars at a virtual benefit show this weekend to collect donations for the fight against the corona virus. The special program “One World – Together At Home” will kick off on Saturday evening with a six-hour live stream (from 8:00 p.m. CET) with appearances by celebrities.
This is followed by a two-hour show at 2 a.m., which also includes musicians such as Paul McCartney, Pharrell Williams, Elton John and Stevie Wonder. The concerts can be seen via live stream on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, among others. The event was organized by the Global Citizen activist movement. With the virtual show, Global Citizen claims to support health workers in the fight against the corona pandemic and call on governments and major donors to support the work of the World Health Organization (WHO) in the crisis.
