Star Academy: the list of prime songs, with a hit from a cult musical

The noose is tightening at the “Star Academy”. This evening at 9:10 p.m. on TF1, Victorien, Candice and Djebril, the nominees of the week, risk elimination. If viewers are angry at the nomination of the latter, they have the fate of the three candidates in their hands this evening, since it is the public votes that will make all the difference. To try to convince him that they deserve to continue the adventure, everyone will be able to give voice to a solo performance. But they won’t be alone! This week, a philharmonic orchestra of 40 musicians will breathe a touch of magic into the different scenes. Thus, Candice will defend her place on the title “I send it waltzing” of Zazie while Djebril will risk the tube “Another Love” by Tom Odell. Victorien will perform the song “10 years of us” by Ben Mazué, whom he adores. The seven other students will have the chance to share the stage with exceptional guests, namely Chimene BadiSlimane, MIKA, Nej and Canadian singer Charlotte Cardin. But who will sing what?

A festive medley with Mika

During Thursday’s daily broadcast followed by 1.5 million fans, the list of songs for this fifth “Star Academy” bonus was revealed. Thus, it is Julien who will stand alongside Slimane to sing his hit “Come, we love each other”. A duel at the top between Julien and Axel

But that’s not all ! Various challenges will be offered to students during this high-tension bonus. Pierre will have the honors of a solo interpretation of a monument of French song, “The Hymn to Love” by Edith Piaf. Margot, for her part, wins the dancing and singing picture of the week: with the Netflix series “Wednesday” as the thematic setting, the singer will perform “Bloody Mary” of Lady Gaga. Two duets between candidates will also be on the program: Lénie and Héléna will put a little sparkle in the eyes of the public to the sound of the hit “Firework” of Katy Perry while Julien and Axel will compete in power on “The Cathedrals Time”, legendary song from the musical “Notre-Dame de Paris” initially performed by Bruno Pelletier. Finally, all the students will come together for a pop and colorful college session on the essential “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John and Clara is preparing a surprise for the nominees: she will sing to them “We are going to love each other” for a moment that promises to be very emotional. Note that the evening guests will all return to the “Star Academy” set in the second part of the evening, in order to present their latest singles in the show “Retour au château”.
