Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani said that her party decided to take over the Village BLT distribution program which amounted to Rp. 28.8 trillion and the vaccination program in the regions whose budget was Rp. 1.96 trillion. Both programs are known, should be run by the local government.
Sri Mulyani explained that from the Village BLT budget of Rp 28.8 trillion for 8 million beneficiary families (KPM), the realization of the distribution was very low.
In detail, in January only 5.1 million KPM were distributed with a budget of Rp 1.53 trillion. Then in February it was distributed to 4.42 million KPM with a budget realization of Rp 1.33 trillion.
In March it was given to 3.8 million KPM with a budget of Rp 1.07 trillion. Then in April it was only given to 2.71 KPM with a budget of Rp. 810 billion.
Then in May the new distribution was given to 1.87 million KPM with a budget of Rp. 560 billion, in June to 750,000 KPM with a budget of only Rp. 220 billion. And in July it was only distributed to 230,000 with a budget of Rp 7 billion.
This means that from Rp 28.8 trillion of Village BLT, only Rp 5.6 trillion has been realized or only 19.4% of the budget ceiling. Therefore, said Sri Mulyani, the central government will distribute directly to KPM who live in the village.
“This is what we and the Ministry of Village will continue to push. If there is no movement until now, we will be able to search for names in each village to get assistance from the government,” Sri Mulyani explained in a virtual conference, quoted Sunday (18/7/2021) ).
In fact, said Sri Mulyani, currently the village government can pay Village BLT by relaxing the rules, so they have no problem paying immediately to recipient groups in the village who have not received any social assistance (bansos), be it PKH, basic food cards, social assistance. cash (BST).
“If it doesn’t happen (distribution), we will intersect, so that the money is already there, but we haven’t felt the benefits yet, we can avoid it. We want to get into the community and help them,” Sri Mulyani continued.
In addition to taking over the distribution of Village BLT, the government has also decided to take over the vaccination which should be the responsibility of the local government.
Vaccination in the regions, said Sri Mulyani, will be carried out by the TNI, Polri and BKKBN midwives to be able to help with vaccinations. That way the target of vaccination of 1-3 million a day can be realized. The TNI-Polri target is 30 million vaccinated and 37 million BKKBN midwives vaccinated.
“This means that a budget for vaccination will be given with additional personnel of Rp. 1.96 trillion. Actually this budget is in the regions, but so far this has not happened,” he said.
“Hearing the TNI’s complaint, the vaccine operation must come out of its own budget. We will provide it and the regional budget will be taken directly before we transfer it, the name is intersect,” Sri Mulyani continued.
