Spotify comes with Premium subscription for two people | NOW

Music service Spotify made its Premium Duo subscription available on Wednesday. This allows two people at the same address to listen to music separately.

The Premium Duo subscription can be taken out for two people living at the same address. The subscription costs 12.99 euros per month and the users keep their own Premium account.

The subscription allows users to listen to their own music simultaneously. Previously created playlists, preferences and saved albums are saved. In addition, Premium Duo gives access to extras, such as Duo Mix. That is a playlist in which music is recommended to both subscribers.

Spotify previously offered plans for individual use (9.99 euros per month) and for families up to six people (14.99 per month). With a family subscription, people must also live at the same address. At the end of last year, Spotify informed members of these subscriptions every once in a while to ask for their home address, to prevent abuse.
