Spectator or not – how the NFL starts the season

Los Angeles (AP) – For the NFL opener against the Houston Texans, the Kansas City Chiefs play in front of spectators on Friday night – but not in their first away game in Los Angeles a week later.

Because of the corona pandemic, very few football teams in the NFL can let fans into their stadiums. The health authorities of the respective states have the say here. When the billion dollar new SoFi stadium in Los Angeles will host a Rams or Chargers game with spectators for the first time is open. Some teams even forego spectators for the entire season.
