Several news sites circulated news that the great artist Youssef Shaaban had lost consciousness and was placed on a ventilator after his condition deteriorated due to his infection with the Coronavirus.

For our part, Masrawy communicated with the artist Nihal Anbar, a member of the Representative Professions Syndicate, which is responsible for the health file of the Syndicate, to find out the details of the matter, which she denied, confirming that the artist Youssef Shaaban was already put on a ventilator as a kind of help to overcome the crisis Health, as for the partial loss of consciousness, stressed that the medical team treating him was the one who did so in order to avoid the inconveniences and pain of putting him on the device.

Nihal added: “Youssef Shaaban held himself and for the last moment before he grew up, he was fine and choked, and the catcher said to them annoying me, and putting him on a ventilator is a normal thing to support him, but he is very conscious.”

The representative of health in acting professions added: “Youssef Shaaban is very expensive, so prayers change the destiny, and I hope that our Lord transgresses his crisis for good and returns to us healthy and well, God willing.”

The artist, Youssef Shaaban, was recently infected with the new Corona virus (Covid-19), and is currently in one of the intensive care rooms in Agouza Hospital.

Youssef Shaaban was born in the Shubra neighborhood of Cairo on July 16, 1931, he studied at the Faculty of Law of Ain Shams University after his family’s severe refusal to join the Faculty of Fine Arts, and during his university studies he got acquainted with the artist Karam Mutawa, who advised him to join the cast in the college, and then withdraw his papers from College, which is in the third year; In order to join the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, in which he graduated in 1962.

Youssef Shaaban’s most prominent cinematic contributions include: “Miramar, the mother of the bride, for men only, the idol of the masses, my wife, the general manager.” .

Youssef Shaaban’s last work in the movie “The Fourth Haram” with Ahmed Hatem, Tara Emad, Mirhan Hussein and Mahmoud El-Gendy in 2016.
