Actor Dan Krejčík (26) lives in the Central Bohemian Region at Osečany Castle with his partner, former politician Matěj Stropnický (37). But most of the time, Matěj now devotes himself to repairing the castle. They have lived together for 3.5 years and their acquaintance was said to be quite romantic.
Dan and Matěj admit that saving and maintaining the chateau is demanding and requires all the time and money. “I have one remark about life at the chateau – it’s an vacated old house,” the partners joke. He tries to restore and save the chateau, but he must follow the strict rules of conservationists. “It’s our 28 + KK and it’s a chapel and a shelter,” adds Dan.
TV Nova was extremely interested in this couple if they wanted to try the Wife Exchange. “I find it interesting and unique that this show shows how a lot of people live in this republic, among other things. It can in a way be a probe into how different social groups live in society,” says Matěj.
And what family will Dan look into as a surrogate mother? It will definitely not be easy, because he will go to a family of eight. Viewers will get to know Martina (31), Pavel (39), Pavel (14), Martina (14), Šárka (10), Adéla (7), Vojtíšek (3) and five-month-old Josífek from Jablonec nad Nisou.
Martina married three children, Pavel one and they have two youngest boys together. “I signed us up for the Exchange because Pavel sometimes behaves like a pig and is lazy,” complains Martina, who is not helped much by her husband and the household. “Even very ugly words fly, so I’ll scold him too,” he adds.
Will Dan be able to get involved in the care of six children and Pavel’s father, and will two housewives handle a five-month-old baby on their own? And what about the new chateau lady and Matěj, will they fit in?
A well-known personality appeared in the Exchange of Wives three years ago and it was the fashion designer Osmana Laffita and his partner (we wrote here). Laffita had to take care of seven children as a surrogate wife. How will Dan thrive in caring for the children of six?
