Špalková and Hanuš in a new crime series from the Ostrava region. You will see a children’s gang and bikers

The series was directed by Radim Špaček. The crew and actors have 85 filming days behind them, about 45 more in front of them. The outdoor shots are filmed, now the crew, which is shooting the twelve-part series Shadows in the Fog in the Ostrava Region, is moving to interiors.

“Over the weekend, scenes began to be filmed at the police station, which we” built “ourselves in the building opposite the Vítkovice railway station. Filming should take place there until approximately December 10, “said a spokeswoman for the Ostrava Television Studio, in whose production center the series is being created. Filming will continue in mid-January.

Children’s gangs and bikers

Twelve hour episodes introduce the viewer to the environment of various social groups. From a children’s gang from a housing estate and youtubers, through bikers or smugglers, to real estate agents. According to the creators, this is a report on the current society. “This is the first series, twelve-part, that I do all by myself. I always shared the direction with colleagues, which gave me more time. Now I am solely responsible for the whole work and for the arc in which I tell the story, “says director Radim Špaček.

According to creative producer Kateřina Ondřejková, the series gives a lot of space to the personal lines of the main characters. “Who are they, what are their lives, what do they live when they are not looking for ‘shadows in the fog’. These are elements that we have not seen much in the Czech series so far. At the same time, I wanted the female character to be a forensic scientist. I wonder if a woman, mother, wife can combine personal life with such demanding work, “says Ondřejková.
