SpaceX CSR-25 Cargo Launch Postponed Again, Why?

KOMPAS.com – Cargo mission launch SpaceX again delayed by two weeks, with the plan scheduled for July 11, 2022.

The mission called CRS-25will send the SpaceX Dragon robot capsule to International Space Station on a Falcon 9 rocket.

Originally, the CRS-2 was slated to launch on June 10th, but NASA and SpaceX postponed it until June 28 due to an increase in hydrazine vapor levels.

Hydrazine vapor is the propellant used by the Draco Dragon thrusters, as part of the propulsion system spaceship.

“After lowering the propellant from that region (Dragon’s propulsion system), SpaceX was able to narrow the source of the problem down to the Draco boost valve inlet connection,” the agency official wrote. SpaceTuesday (14/6/2022).

Currently, the team will be removing custom hardware to replace it before the flight.
