South Jakarta Walkot Office Opens Pfizer Vaccine Service

People who want to be vaccinated register on the Jaki application until September 17, 2021.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The South Jakarta Mayor’s Office (Walkot Jaksel) opened a vaccination center with Pfizer vaccine until September 17, 2021. The Head of the Employee Health Center (PKP) of the South Jakarta Walkot Office, Dr. Laura, said that the vaccination is intended for one dose for the general public and students who have never been vaccinated.

“For vaccination activities with the Pfizer vaccine, we will provide 400 doses of the first dose at the Mayor’s Office until it’s finished,” Laura said in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (7/9).

Laura said that the vaccination, which was held in the Pattern Room of Block A Building, 3rd floor, took place thanks to the collaboration of the Health Sub-dept., Assistant for People’s Welfare, and the Sub-district Health Center as well as the PKP of the South Jakarta Walkot Office. For the general public who want to be vaccinated, he continued, they can register through the Jaki application (Jakarta Now).

Meanwhile, students can register by going directly to the South Jakarta Walkot Office. “The mechanism for distributing 400 doses. That is 200 for the general public by registering via Jaki. And 200 for students in South Jakarta who register at the Mayor’s Office,” said Laura.

To serve the vaccination, his party mobilized five health workers every day. “Injections for 17 days of activity are carried out for the first dose. But it is likely that it will continue until the second dose is injected,” said Laura.
