The French sports tech nugget wants to strengthen its product team based in Paris.
Being quick to execute and adapting quickly is a sine qua non condition for the success of a company with international ambitions. Sorare, the young French company known for fantasy sports games, based on NFT collectible cards, is somewhat reorganizing the geography of its workforce. It will thus eliminate 22 positions (around 13% of its workforce), mainly its New York office which will be maintained with around ten people.
It plans, on the other hand, to recreate 28 positions this year in Paris, where its headquarters is based. Sorare wants to strengthen its product development team for 2024, an important year for sport in France. “ We believe that bringing this team together in one location in Paris will allow them to collaborate more effectively, while continuing to create best-in-class products across all of our football, baseball and basketball offerings. » explained Nicolas Julia, its CEO and co-founder, to Techcrunch media.
At the beginning of January, the group launched Rivals, a new free game mode aimed at the general public, the development of which it intends to accelerate this year. At the start of the year, the company will offer a much more complete mobile application, on Apple and Android, which will give users full access to their account. Sorare is also expected to launch its first major marketing campaign.
