Sony will share game news in a new State of Play broadcast on Thursday

Sony will hold another of its short State of Play-sendinger this week. More specifically, things will take place on Thursday 8 July from 23:00, with approximately 30 minutes of game news.

The biggest item on the agenda this time is Deathloop, the next action game from Dishonored creator Arkane. Sony promises nine minutes of gaming from the time travel adventure, while the other 21 minutes are set aside for indie games and other third-party titles.

You can follow via Twitch or YouTube.

The PlayStation maker is otherwise careful about calming the expectations of fans. It is pointed out that the broadcast will not include news about the next God of War, Horizon Forbidden West or the new edition of PlayStation VR.

According to rumors, PlayStation VR 2 will not be released until the end of 2022. Next year also comes the new God of War, after one postponement was announced earlier this year. Horizon Forbidden West may get its launch before the end of 2021, but no final date has been confirmed.

Thursday’s broadcast will certainly not be the only charge of PlayStation news this summer. Sony promises more eventually, but has not yet said anything about what or when.
