Price List for Avanza-Xpander et al Thanks to 0% PPnBM, Starting from IDR 100 Million!

Car prices in the low MPV class have dropped again. You see, cars like Avanza, Xpander and others get back 100% PPnBM discount. Yes, the government has extended the 100% PPnBM discount until August 2021.

The Ministry of Finance issues Minister of Finance Regulation on Amendments to Minister of Finance Regulation No. 31/PMK.010/21 concerning Sales Tax on Luxury Goods on Delivery of Taxable Goods Classified as Luxury in the Form of Certain Motorized Vehicles Borne by the Government (PPnBM DTP) for Fiscal Year 2021.

In the policy PPnBM discount 100% awarded until August. The remainder until December will apply a 25% PPnBM discount. Here’s the period:

– 100% (one hundred percent) of PPnBM payable for the April 2021 Tax Period up to the May 2021 Tax Period
– 100% (one hundred percent) of PPnBM payable for the June 2021 Tax Period to the August 2021 Tax Period
– 25% (twenty five percent) of the PPnBM payable for the September 2021 Tax Period up to the 2021 Tax Period.

Consumers who already bought a car with a 50% PPnBM discount in June 2021, the money will be returned by the dealer.

Thanks to 100% PPnBM discount, the price of a low MPV car has now touched the number of Rp. 100 million again. The cheapest, there is Wuling Confero which is sold with prices starting from Rp. 140 million. Meanwhile, the Toyota Avanza with a 100% PPnBM discount is sold at a price of IDR 180 million.
