The operational center of Police Central Netherlands received a report about the boulder last night. Despite its size, the block did not seem to be very heavy. “At the time of the conversation, the block was briefly placed on the cycle path,” the police wrote on Instagram.
“Impressed by the physical condition of the reporter and with some doubts about the story, we immediately sent Police Zeist-Noord to take a look. It turned out that the reporter was right too!”

Where the boulder came from and who put it there is still a mystery. “Someone lost something?” Jokes the police.
