Several artists, the Tierra de Hombres Foundation, the Fillos de Xon Corral Society and the Madia Leva coffee maker in Baamonde (Begonte) join forces in a solidarity project in the form of an artistic exhibition. Until the middle of June, 16 works by various artists will hang on the walls of the Madia Leva establishment, with all kinds of techniques, from paintings, to drawings or photographs; but all of them, with a common link: solidarity.
The traveling and collective exhibition, A journey of solidarity and creative life, was born from the collaboration between the oeneg Tierra de Hombres Foundation, whose delegate in Galicia is Ral Besada, and the Fillos de Xon Corral Society. We want to give a very special thanks to Cavities, son of our dear friend Juan Corral, now deceased, and to the Corral family, for their sensitivity and support to our projects to help children, and to all the participating artists for their collaboration, explains Besada.

The exhibited works will be available for sale at the single price of 150 euros, an amount that will be allocated entirely to the Journey to Life project, and to raise awareness about the rights of children, an objective that the Tierra de Hombres Foundation in Galicia has been carrying out since the year 2003.
With the Journey to Life project, Tierra de Hombres organizes the transfer to Spain of minors with serious but curable pathologies, belonging to low-income families from various African countries.
The girls and boys, coming from places where the infant mortality rate is very high, cannot be treated in their countries of origin, lacking the sanitary infrastructures and the medical equipment necessary for their cure.
