Two servicemen from the Ministry of Defense were detained for 72 hours by a decree of a supervising prosecutor from the Military District Prosecutor’s Office – Sofia.
They were arrested on suspicion of exporting classified information in favor of a foreign country, the press center of the Ministry of Defense announced.
The detention took place as a result of operative-investigative actions of the security services.
Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in the case.
The information of the Ministry of Defense is in connection with the data on the action of SANS agents against persons on suspicion of espionage in favor of Russia.
