Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – In the event of a victory at the first half of the Bundesliga against Bayer Leverkusen this afternoon (3:30 p.m. / DAZN), SC Freiburg can spend the winter on a Champions League pitch for the first time in its club’s history. The guests currently standing in front of the sports club are currently two points ahead of Freiburg. If the Baden win, they would overtake Bayer in any case and jump to a table position that entitles them to participate in the premier class at the end of the season.

Recently, however, things weren’t going well at the SC. In the last six games there was only one win, but four defeats. Leverkusen also presented themselves without luck recently and can look back on two bankruptcies and a draw in three competitive games.
