After the holidays, there is a risk of strong rain and winds from northern to western Japan, resulting in rough weather due to the developing low pressure system. Until around the 6th (Monday), the temperature will be record high for November, but from the 7th (Tuesday) onwards, the heat will gradually subside. In mid-November, it will be cold especially in the mornings and evenings.
After the 3-day holiday, rain and wind will increase and there is a risk of stormy weather
On Saturday the 4th, it will rain in places from Hokkaido to Hokuriku until around noon. It looks like it will be sunny in many places west of the Kanto region. On the 5th (Sunday), a low pressure system accompanied by a front will move near the Korean Peninsula. There will be periods of sunshine across the country, but clouds are likely to spread due to the damp air. There may be some places where it will rain temporarily.
From the 6th (Monday) to the 7th (Tuesday), a low pressure system will develop as it moves northeastward from the Sea of Japan to the Sea of Okhotsk, and a front extending from the low pressure system will pass from northern Japan to western Japan. The weather is likely to be rough, with rain and wind increasing mainly along the Sea of Japan from Hokkaido to Kyushu. Hokkaido and Tohoku may experience severe stormy weather and heavy rain.
From the 8th (Wednesday) to the 9th (Thursday), high pressure will cover the area and it will be mostly sunny. On Friday the 10th, it is likely to rain in places from Kanto to Kyushu due to a trough in atmospheric pressure.
Even on days when it snows in Hokkaido, there are many sunny days on the Pacific side.
From Saturday the 11th, Hokkaido, the Sea of Japan side of Tohoku, and Hokuriku will be cloudy, with many days of rain and snow. In Hokkaido, it seems that there are places where it snows even on the flatlands. It’s a good idea to prepare winter tires. The Pacific side of Hokkaido and Tohoku, and areas west of Kanto are expected to be mostly sunny.
How long will the unseasonably hot weather last?
