Soap star Jay Pickett died during filming

Jay Pickett – best known from the soap operas “In Good and Bad Days”, where he had the role of Chip Lakin from 1991 to -92, and General Hospital (2006 and 2007-2008) – died on Friday, 60 years old.

That confirms his wife Elena Pickett, according to CNN.

Pickett was in Idaho, filming scenes for his new movie “Treasure Valley” when he died, according to director Travis Mills.

– Jay Pickett, our protagonist, screenwriter, producer and creator of this film, died suddenly while preparing a scene, Mills posted on the film’s official Facebook page.

The cause of death has not been clarified, but according to the director, it seemed like a heart attack, and several are said to have tried what they could to keep him alive.

– He did what he loved: be an actor, ride, make movies. And he was excellent, writes Travis Mills.
