VIVA Kriminal – One person kiai cottage caretaker boarding school in Jember Regency, East Java, a man named Kiai Fahim Mawardi alias FM has been in the spotlight in the last week for allegedly molesting some of his female students. Reported by his own wife, HA, Kiai FM has now been named a suspect and has been detained, Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Kyai FM is said to have been detained by investigators after undergoing questioning from last Monday afternoon to early Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation about this from the police.

Head of the Jember Resort Police Criminal Investigation Unit Adjunct Police Commissioner Dika Dika Hadiyan Widya Wiratama has not yet responded to confirmation VIVA via WhatsApp message.

Separately, Head of Public Relations Section Jember Police First Police Inspector Brisan Imanullah neither denied nor confirmed when asked about the detention of Kiai FM. However, he ensured that the case was still being processed at the PPA Unit.

“Can’t say that yet [Kiai FM ditahan]. Clear [kasus pencabulan Kiai FM] in the process. That’s it,” he told VIVA.
