Wow, cool – Handsome actor Kwak Dong Yeon has become a cameo for the third episode “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay“which aired last Saturday (6/27). In this short appearance he played the role of an OK Mental Hospital patient named Kwon Gi Do.
Kwon Gi Do is described as the son of a board member who has a mental disorder due to parenting. He is often treated unfairly because he is not smarter when compared to his older siblings. That’s why Kwon Gi Do tried to do various crazy things to attract the attention of his parents. Unfortunately, he really went crazy and ended up at OK Hospital, where Moon Kang Tae (Kim Soo Hyun) work.
Even so, Kwon Gi Do has the opportunity to voice his heart thanks to Go Moon Young’s reckless actions (Seo Ye Ji) who drove him to his father’s campaign site. There Kwon Gi Do revealed all his heartache due to the unfair treatment of his parents to the entire community present. That’s why Kwon Gi Do feels very satisfied and happy even though it finally makes his family angry.
After completing the shoot for this brief appearance, Kwak Dong Yeon expressed his excitement. In addition, Kwak Dong Yeon also did not forget to express his gratitude to Kim Soo Hyun who had noticed him on the set.
“Every actor has one project they want to be a part of whatever happens, and for me ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ is that project. I worked hard not to hurt the tone of the drama and put out the Kwon Gi Do story that I wanted to share, and I enjoyed all the process, “said Kwak Dong Yeon.
