In cold weather for several months, the Cambridge and Sussex couples may soon be competing for the limelight at two prestigious and highly anticipated events, which will take place a week apart.
Something on the red carpet. For several months, relations between Kate Middleton and le prince William are not looking good with Meghan Markle and prince harry, who set sail for Los Angeles after renouncing their titles as senior members of the royal family. A new status for the Sussex couple, which is closer to the Hollywood lifestyle than castle life, since many organizers are now snatching them up for public appearances. Particularly for the upcoming premiere of the new James Bond, which will not please Kate Middleton and prince William.
The two couples could indeed attend the Premiere of No Time To Die next November … one week apart. While Kate Middleton and Prince William are expected to be honored guests of the London Red Carpet, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be at the Los Angeles Premiere the following week. “The team recently adjusted the release date in the United States for the week following that of the United Kingdom – so that we could have massive premieres in Los Angeles and London”, reports The Sun, which points out that “For the Hollywood premiere, organizers have said they want Harry and Meghan as special guests”. If the two couples agree to attend the James Bond premieres, there will no doubt be a fierce battle on the red carpet.
Kate “sensitive to comparisons” with Meghan
An appearance that may however annoy a lot Kate Middleton, who can no longer bear to be compared to Meghan Markle during his actions. “Kate was almost used by some outlets as a stick to beat Meghan”, Duncan Larcombe pointed out after the publication of the portrait of the duchess published in the magazine Tatler. “We know that William and Kate are very sensitive to comparisons with Meghan”added the journalist. And these appearances will certainly provoke new ones …
