Samouha’s coach, Ahmed Sami, said that Hossam Hassan, the team’s striker, will not move to Zamalek, saying that he is happy with the Al-Ahly duo, Mohamed Abdel Moneim and Ahmed Abdel Qader.
Ahmed Sami said in his statements to “On Time Sports” satellite channel: “We respect the referees very much, but the VAR came to help the referees. Here the referee did not look at the video, and if he looked at it, it would count.”
He continued: “In the match between Ghazl El Mahalla and Al Jaish, a goal was calculated from a similar ball through the assistant referee.
He talked about the possibility of Hossam Hassan leaving Zamalek, saying: “Hossam Hassan continues with Smouha and may leave at the end of the season, but he will not move to Zamalek in January, and the final decision will be made by the club president.”
He added, “We are currently trying to sign a foreign player before the end of the transfer period, and we will try to support the offensive and defensive side.”
As for the young duo on loan from Al-Ahly, he said: “Mohamed Abdel Moneim and Ahmed Abdel Qader are presenting a good level, and the first is with us since last season, and Abdelkader will be better in the coming period and will be part of the Olympic team.”
He concluded, “Mustafa Fathi possesses great capabilities, no less than any player in the national team.”
