Skydiving for Alzheimer’s Research UK

Alzheimer’s is a devastating and life changing disease which can affect the mental and physical health of a loved one. I’ve worked with people with dementia and Alzheimer’s for many years, and it’s so rewarding to support them through this part of their life. Unfortunately, there is still no cure, and the causes of this disease are still not 100% understood.

Recently, a family member was diagnosed with this awful disease which has left them feeling fearful, worry, stress and uncertainty for the future. A once independent stubborn man, will now almost solely rely on those closest to him for support, whilst his loved ones will need support from organisations and charities, just like this one.

This is why I want to raise money, to help fund research into dementia and Alzheimer’s disease which affects many close to home. To help bring life-changing treatment for those with dementia, and to increase support for families and the individual.
