Emiel is a skater in heart and soul
Emiel has been on a skateboard since his youth. But in the busy life of a game developer and teacher it is difficult to test all kinds of famous skate spots. Fortunately, there is Skater XL. The game offers a map with more than sixty real life skate spots in California, including the famous staircase Lyon 25! California is the Walhalla for many skaters. All locations are connected by streets, parking garages, swimming pools and many more places where you can slide the asphalt under your board. You can do this with skate icons like Tiago Lemos, Evan Smith, Tom Asta or Brandon Westgate.
What exactly makes Skater XL unique?
In principle you would think that all skate games are a bit the same. A trick here and a trick there. Yet Easy Day Studios has tried to give Skater XL its own look and feel. You have complete control over what your character’s feet do. By controlling the controller sticks separately, no trick should look the same! And the makers are especially proud of this feature!
