Jos Dijsselhof and Daniel Schmucki, CEO and CFO of the financial services provider SIX, respectively, were “unanimously appointed” by co-optation by BME’s board of directors. Mr. Dijsselhof was also elected to the Remuneration Committee and Mr. Schmucki to the Audit Committee.

They will replace the resigning directors Juan March Juan and Santos Martínez-Conde, who represented on the board the ex-shareholder Corporación Financiera Alba, specifies BME in a press release.

In a separate note, the Madrid group also announced the appointment of Marion Leslie, head of financial information for SIX, and Belén Romana – administrator of Banco Santander – as independent, as well as the re-election of outgoing Javier Hernani and David Jiménez -White.

BME announced last week the convening of an extraordinary general meeting for July 30 to validate these appointments and reduce the minimum number of directors to 6 (9) and their maximum number to 9 (15).

Solicited, the operator of the Swiss Stock Exchange indicated that he would communicate “in due time” possible changes within his own board of directors. (AWP)
