Wife of presidential candidate number three Ganjar Pranowo, Siti Atikoh Supriyanti, met tens of thousands of female PDIP cadres in Solo, Central Java (Central Java). In his speech, Siti Atikoh Tells about his experience as a journalist.

It is known that thousands of female PDIP cadres and volunteer groups crowded Vastenburg Fort, Solo, Central Java. Also present was the Chairman of the Solo PDIP DPC, FX Hadi Rudyatmo.

Before climbing the stage, Siti Atikoh shook hands with the activity participants. Disabled groups were also greeted and took selfies. While on stage, FX Rudy told Atikoh that the tens of thousands of event participants who attended were fighters.

“These are the heroines from Solo. Solo is a true warrior,” said FX Rudy, in Solo, Central Java, Sunday (17/12/2023).

On the same occasion, Atikoh said that he was sure that the women present at the location had mental steel. Atikoh was grateful to be able to meet and greet them.

“Today I am in the company of all extraordinary warriors,” said Atikoh.

Atikoh then said that he had worked as a journalist at Solopos in 1997. According to him, being a journalist gave him extraordinary experience because he knew and saw firsthand all aspects of life. Women’s issues, said Atikoh, always attract his attention.

“Every day I go in and out of the markets there, I dialogue with traders, especially female traders, about how they can survive,” he said.

Atikoh considers the conditions of women traders in the past to be still relevant to discuss today. He firmly rejected that women have the 3M functions, macak (dressing up), cooking (cooking), manak (giving birth).

“No, no, because in 1998 it was already a struggle. We had a lot to do, one of which was for mothers at home to become the first child’s madrasah, in the environment here there are certainly many who are active in posyandu,” he explained.

On the other hand, continued Atikoh, the work that women must complete collectively is how to contribute to preventing domestic violence.

“We must also be able to educate that women must be loved, must be protected, we must also be able to protect children when accessing the internet so that they do not become victims of bullying, do not become prey to predators,” he said.

Atikoh invited women to join hands to build this beloved nation and country. According to him, this togetherness must be continued considering that women’s struggle is still very long.

“In this happy moment, I want to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day, to these extraordinary mothers who are always full of enthusiasm to be able to give the best for themselves, their families, their beloved nation and country,” stressed Atikoh.
