Since Monday Italy closes all nightlife venues due to the outbreak of the pandemic

He Italian Health Minister Roberto Speranza has announced the closure as of Monday of all nightlife venues in the country to contain the new surges in the coronavirus pandemic.

All nightclubs, including their outdoor events, as well as beach clubs, will be closed, and anyone who meets between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. at bars, restaurants and squares public, “Or any place with risk of overcrowding” must wear a mask.

These new measures are declared in a day that the country has registered more than 460 cases after registering on Saturday an unprecedented maximum since May, with 629 infections, in several outbreaks attributed to the concentration of young people in these places.

The situation has reached such a point that local experts from the Italian Government warn that the reopening of schools is in danger, something that Speranza wants to contain by all means.

“The contagion numbers in Italy, although among the lowest in Europe, are growing. We can’t ruin the sacrifices made in recent months. Our priority must be to reopen the schools in September with full safety ”, he made known through a post on Facebook
