This Saturday, the regime of administrative offenses came into force for those who do not comply with measures to combat the pandemic of Covid-19.
Security forces can now impose fines ranging from 100 to 500 euros for natural persons and which for legal entities can reach 5,000 euros.
They apply to those who do not follow the rules for gatherings, use of masks or visors, operation, schedules and cleaning of establishments.
In view of the worsening situation in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon, the President of the Ordem dos Médicos criticizes what he considers “an excess of optimism and a lack of anticipation” in the management of deflation. And it calls for more control at airports and transport in general.
