The network is delighted with the export of “VAZiks”.
Motorists know that the VAZ-2121 was actively exported to countries near and far abroad during the Soviet era, after which it became perhaps the most famous Russian SUV in the world. The most popular LADA Niva model was in Germany, Italy, Spain and Canada, but the French also liked VAZ.
As in other countries, motorists in France fell in love with the “Niva” for the budget price, unpretentiousness and excellent off-road qualities – the perfect car for the countryside. Of course, from the Soviet Union standard factory VAZ-2121 went abroad, and already local French dealers modified them on the spot to please the local buyer.
There are many different options for the Niva, created for French motorists. But recently, two very rare “beauties” of LADA Niva 4 × 4 for France were shown on the network – they would definitely have a line in Russia.
The first of these rare and beautiful VAZ-2121 received the name LADA Niva Metalic, which received a color corresponding to the new name. Moreover, the body was painted not in one metallic color, but in two at once: a dark shade for the roof, pillars, upper edge of the doors and hood, and a light shade for the lower part. There were two options for the two-color scheme: “eggplant” and red, or deep blue and green.
Such a “glossy” 2-color “Niva” was beautiful in itself, but dealers equipped the car with other discs with a new pattern, as well as a silver metallic radiator grille. It is reported that HBO in LADA Niva Metalic was installed by default.
But while the VAZ-2121 Metallic was rarely used by the French on rough roads, the next rare LADA Niva Randonnee was not disdained to be released into the mud and snow. It is not surprising, because this name is translated from French as “campaign”. “Niva” received an expeditionary trunk, a kenguryatnik, protection of lamps and additional locks on a cowl.
And the main difference is the dense light stickers made of composite material, similar to armor, with which the VAZ is glued at the bottom. They are designed to protect the body from light damage like chips from stones or scratches from branches, but also look like a decorative element.
Judging by the reaction of the network, many would not refuse to purchase such a Niva in Russia. It is not clear why AvtoVAZ will not take this into account, since it is quite realistic to transfer protective stickers and a two-color metallic to at least LADA 4 × 4 Urban.
