Penig – Aggressive shoplifter in Penig! In a supermarket on Chemnitzer Strasse, a man (57) took two beers from the shelf on Saturday evening, but did not want to pay for them.

When the 57-year-old entered the checkout area and did not want to pay, a cashier (33) asked him about the theft.
But the man just walked on! Finally, two other supermarket employees asked the 57-year-old to stop.
Then he came back and hit the cashier in the face.
“A customer (31) had now become aware of this situation. He followed the caught man and asked him to wait until the police arrived. Then he was also hit in the face by the man. Ultimately, the 31-year-old was able to thief stop, “said a police spokesman.
The customer as well as the cashier were slightly injured.
When the police arrived, the shoplifter was uncooperative and aggressive, so the officers had to get the man under control.
