Shenhua 15: The First Ship at Vizhinjam Port with Cranes from China

Thiruvananthapuram: The ship ‘Shenhua 15’ which arrived at Vizhinjam International Port with cranes will leave today or tomorrow. The ship is preparing to return to China after the three cranes from the ship have been unloaded at the berth. The third crane was lowered into the berth yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile, the second ship (Shenhua 29) returned from China with six cranes.

The vessel Shenhua 15 of Shanghai PMC from China anchored in Vizhinjam project area on 12th of this month. The ship reached the Indian coast on September 24, but was heading straight to the port of Mundra in Gujarat. After lowering the crane at Mundra, the ship left for Vizhinja. The ship arrived with the cranes most essential for the operation of the port.
