Several county roads in Trøndelag are closed. Fylkesvei 6900 Skjækerfossen is closed at Slapgardsholmen due to flooding. Geir Asle Hallager (67) lives about 400 meters from Skjækerfossen in Verdal.

He was actually going to Veraskjøra for a birthday, but they do not know what it will be like because there is a lot of water in the road.

FLOM. Geir Asle Hallager (67) and his wife were actually going to Veraskjøra for a birthday, but due to flooding they may have to stay home.

– I was at the river bank today early, and then I was there two hours later and then the river had grown by five to ten centimeters. And it’s still growing.

In 2006, there was almost as much water as there is now, according to Hallager. He has lived in the area all his life.
