A child dies in a car accident, another is injured. According to the police, much is still unclear.
A seven-year-old boy died in a car accident in Frankfurt am Main. His 11-year-old brother and the 54-year-old driver were injured on Saturday, but their lives are not in danger, police said. The police initially gave no information as to whether the man was the father of the two children.
The driver left the road in his car on Saturday afternoon in the Westend for reasons that have not yet been clarified and crashed into a tree and a tree guard. The car overturned and landed on its roof.
The two children and the man were taken to hospitals. The seven-year-old boy died of his injuries in hospital on Saturday. No other vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.
