The incident took place in the Strudel coffee shop, where, according to journalists, Alexander Gaidu came with his companion. The woman was denied service due to the lack of a vaccination certificate, which is why the “servant of the people” began to threaten the staff of the institution.

As the staff of Strudel said, the “servant of the people” introduced himself as a people’s deputy and said that he and his companion were obliged to serve him.

According to “Strana”, a few days later, employees of the State Emergency Service began to come to the Strudel coffee shop with checks. The reason for this was the deputy’s appeal to the mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov from the “servant” Alexander Gaidu.

In the document, the people’s deputy demanded to carry out all possible checks on the basis of “mass complaints from Odessa citizens” about the institution.

The “Strana” publication also published a video from the Strudel coffee house, which shows how a man similar to Alexander Gaidu enters the building with a woman. For several minutes, a conversation took place between visitors and staff, after which the video ends abruptly.
