Mönchengladbach – An action movie scene. A woman (51) races along the motorway at 130 km / h. A man (53) lies on the hood of her car. He clings desperately – to no avail.
A witness called the Mönchengladbach police control center at around 10:25 p.m. because a car was driving on the A61 in the Venlo direction of travel with a person lying on its bonnet. This was then carried down from the hood and came to rest on one of the lanes. However, the car continued to drive.
Why the man was on the hood has not yet been clarified.
The victim came to an accident clinic in Krefeld with the most serious injuries. At first there was danger to life. The woman was brought before a judge on Saturday morning and is in custody. A homicide commission investigates.
