The incident took place around 3:49 a.m. on “Al. Malinov” Blvd. in the area of the intersection of “Alexander Malinov” Blvd. and “Andrei Sakharov” Blvd.
A 55-year-old driver rear-ended a car driven by a 47-year-old licensed driver who was waiting for a green signal at a traffic light.
The 47-year-old driver was injured in the impact. He was taken to a medical facility with severe injuries – fractured pelvis, limbs, pneumothorax, hemorrhages. The man’s life is in danger.
According to initial information, the 55-year-old driver was moving along “Al. Malinov” Blvd. in the direction from the intersection with “Samara” St. to “Andrei Sakharov” Blvd., and in the area of ”Hit” hypermarket he was involved in an accident with others cars.
The driver who caused the accident was driving after drinking alcohol, and the blood sugar reading was 1.99 per thousand. He also tested positive for cocaine use.
