Sergio Ramos impresses with its effectiveness. He was ahead of Daniel Passarella
The second goal scored in the match against Ukraine meant that Ramos advanced to the first place in the ranking of the most effective defenders in the history of national team football. The 34-year-old was one goal ahead of Daniel Passarella, who scored 22 goals for Argentina between 1976 and 1986. However, it should be noted that Passarella has earned his achievements in 69 matches. Ramos played 172 times in the team.
