Sergio Goycochea confirmed that he is an asymptomatic carrier of coronavirus, after performing a swab for being “close contact” of a positive case within his work group.
The ex-archer of the Argentine national team, who has been a television host for several years and works in journalistic programs, told the news about his health through a video that he published this Sunday on his Instagram account.
“I want to tell you that there was a positive within my work group. We had to do the necessary controls. I did the swab yesterday (Saturday) and I tested positive“, confirmed Goyco, 56, who is part of “La Oral Deportiva” (Radio Rivadavia) and is host of the program “We are all connected” on Public TV.
The ex-footballer transmitted tranquility, because he said that he is asymptomatic and left a message to his followers.
“I’m perfectly fine, I don’t have any symptoms, all barbarous. I wanted to tell you this and share it with you. Take care of yourself and stay home, as I am going to do for the next 15 days, during which I will work from home,” he said.
Goycochea reached his maximum level of popularity in Argentina, which he continues to enjoy, when at the 1990 World Cup in Italy his performance was enshrined in the National Team since he took the goal after the fracture of Nery Pumpido.
