Sennheiser Unveils New Noise Canceling Wireless Earplugs | NOW

Sennheiser has presented a new version of its Momentum wireless earplugs. The Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds feature active noise cancellation and a larger battery.

The new Momentums should last up to seven hours on a charge, rather than four hours on the previous model. When the earplugs are empty, they can be charged in a supplied box. That way, you can listen for up to 28 hours via the earplugs.

Sennheiser’s first Momentum True Wireless earplugs were highly rated in audio quality in 2018. But the earbuds were plagued with battery issues, which quickly drained the battery over time. Sennheiser says he has solved that with a new bluetooth chip.

With the new Momentums, ambient noise can be filtered out by means of active noise reduction. There is also a mode to let sound through. The caps are also water resistant.

The in-ear earplugs have hardly changed in appearance compared to the previous version, although they have been made 2 millimeters smaller. Sennheiser will release the Momentum True Wireless 2 in April for 299 euros.
