Seine-Saint-Denis. The rapper from Sevran Kaaris is back with his new album “2.7.0”

Finally. After more than a year and a half without an album, the rapper from Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis) Kaaris signs its return this Friday, September 4 with l need to “2.7.0.” A clear choice in reference to the postal code of his city and the gimmick he regularly uses in his songs. Expected at the turn, Kaaris is far from disappointing with this sixth studio album.

With “Goulag”, a resounding return

His first song “Goulag”, released in early July to promote the album, was unanimous. A remarkable comeback with a trap sound and ego trip that allowed him to reach the 2.8 million streams in a week while the clip now cumulates 16 million views.

Well launched, “The Dozo” explains quite simply this success in the excellent program “The Code” with the journalist Mehdi Maïzi: “I rap, I kick, I send the sauce and then people feel it, that’s all “.

Carefully chosen featurings and a final “success”

In “2.7.0”, Kaaris does Kaaris as he did so well in “Black Gold” and also keeps a consistency in the choice of featurings. The rapper from Sevran thus pays himself the luxury of collaborating with Master Gims. He also raps in the company of Dadju, Sid les 3 elements, Imen Es and Bosh, the author of the box “Djomb (Good or what)”.

But the high point of the album is elsewhere and more precisely on the last track ” Success “. Inside, Kaaris returns with sincerity on his personal life and his musical journey. He evokes in particular his galleys on his arrival in France, his featurings, his quarrel with Booba and the critics. He concludes moreover with clairvoyance: “it is only comments and tweets, it is the price of success”.

A lucidity which is a pleasure to hear and which allows “2.7.0” to register definitively as an outstanding album in his discography.
