Seconds of Police Find Cai Changpan Hanging Himself in the Forest, Had Threatened the Security Guard Before He died

BOGOR, KOMPAS TV – Cai Changpan, convict case narcotics who fled from the Tangerang Prison, Banten, was finally found even though he was dead on Saturday (17/10/2020).

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus, said Cai Changpan found dead hanging himself in a tire burning warehouse in the Jasinga forest, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Before the police found CaiChangpan’s body, Yusri explained, the joint team initially carried out a raid on the tire burning warehouse on Saturday (17/10/2020) at around 10.30 WIB.

“This morning around half past 11 a joint team from Polda Metro Jaya, Narcotics, Direskrimum and a team from the Tangerang City Police conducted a raid inside the tire burning factory,” said Yusri on Saturday (18/10/2020).

However, when they arrived at the location of the raid, the team found that Cai Changpan’s body was hanging from a factory in the forest. Then, Cai’s body was taken to the hospital for an autopsy.

“During the raid, the body of Cai Changpan alias Antony was found hanging there,” said Yusri.

“Then now we have performed an autopsy on the body, we have obtained some evidence and witnesses that we have examined.”
