Second coronavirus infected person died in Berlin – B.Z. Berlin

Another man, infected with the new corona virus, died in Berlin. It is a 70-year-old, as health senator Dilek Kalayci said on Monday.

The 95-year-old had died last Friday. There are currently 1071 confirmed cases of the novel corona virus in Berlin. This puts Berlin in third place in the national comparison. According to Kalayci, the problem child is Hamburg.

Five health authorities submitted their cases on Sunday (as of March 22, 2020, 4:30 p.m.). In Brandenburg, 353 people have now tested positive for the new corona virus.

The contact persons are currently being identified, contacted and isolated as part of the containment strategy. 606 people are male, 465 are female. 41 people are isolated and treated in the hospital, 20 of them are treated in intensive care. All other people are isolated at home.
