In 2016, Seat Ateca launched the expansion of the Spanish brand in the field of SUVs. However, after four years of production, the manufacturer decided it was time to upgrade. She really introduced herself this year, revealing Czech prices only a few weeks after her unveiling.
They start at the amount of 609,900 crowns for a petrol three-cylinder 1.0 TSI with an output of 85 kW combined with a six-stage manual. This means that the car became slightly more expensive, so far it has been available with this engine at prices starting at 589,900 crowns.

However, the higher price tag is explained by the use of full-LED headlights. As standard, the modernized Ateca is also equipped with an e-call system, diode fog lamps or a larger display of a multimedia system with a diagonal of 8.25 “.
Otherwise, the basic elements do not change. There are also seven airbags, including a knee driver, a range, a leather multifunction steering wheel, rear parking sensors, a dual-zone automatic transmission, cruise control or electrically operated and heated exterior mirrors.
The Xperience and FR variants are an extension above the basic Style level. Both add an extra piece of equipment, which includes navigation controlled via a 9.2 “touch screen, driving mode switch, semi-leather sports front seats with heating, heated steering wheel, rear parking camera, ambient lighting, progressive steering or keyless entry.

The sporty tuned version of the FR is already a traditional part of the offer, with a 1.5 TSI (110 kW) four-cylinder petrol engine, front-axle drive and a DSG gearbox, it costs 769,900 crowns. The equipment is complemented by a sports look thanks to the rear roof spoiler, painted sports bumpers in the body color, with chrome imitations of the rear tailpipes, or aluminum pedals.
Xperience, on the other hand, is one of the novelties of the facelift. It stands just like the FR, but instead of a sporty look, it emphasizes the off-road character of the SUV. Therefore, it uses black protective edges of the fenders and the lower part of the body or robust bumper inserts. There are also chrome details, such as longitudinal roof racks.
As part of the modernization, Ateca has also improved its optional equipment. The new 10.25 “digital instrument panel will cost 10,900 crowns, the heated Climacoat windscreen capable of reflecting the sun’s rays at 9,500 crowns. Safe Driving XL + assistance system package with the newly offered Travel Assist, blind spot monitoring or parking assistant for FR and Xperience grades costs 23,500 crowns.
As part of the facelift, the Seat Ateca adjusted its bow to the example of Tarrac, and the stern again adorned the Ateca inscription in a playful font as in the new Leon. Inside, in addition to the larger infotainment screen, there are different door trim materials with the indicated stitching, more durable upholstery or a different steering wheel.
