Sdaya Launches New Phase of Tawakkalna Services Application for Government and Private Agencies

Al-Marsad newspaper: Today, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority “Sdaya” launched a new phase of the “Tawakkalna Services Application” with a new identity, services and digital features provided to government and private agencies and individuals, including citizens, residents and visitors to the Kingdom, during a ceremony attended by a number of Their Highnesses, Excellencies and senior officials from both sectors. A word from the President of “Sadaya”

At the beginning of the ceremony, His Excellency the President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, delivered a speech in which he praised the support and directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – to enable digital transformation in the Kingdom and achieve optimal use of technologies. The modern technology represented by data and artificial intelligence that emerged from the Fourth Industrial Revolution and whose uses have become present in all the details of daily life.

He stated that the unlimited support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority – may God protect him – for Sdaya had a profound impact on its fulfillment of its role in the field of data and artificial intelligence as the national technical reference. For everything related to this field of organization, development and dealing in the Kingdom.

Inauguration of a new phase

His Excellency said: Today, we are pleased to launch a new phase of one of Sdaya’s services through the Tawakkalna Services application by joining efforts with Sdaya’s partners from government agencies, led by the Ministry of Interior. We at Sdaya were able to achieve amazing results in the use of data and artificial intelligence technologies, the outcomes of which were represented in a number of digital projects and platforms. And the technical achievements that contributed to serving the nation, its people, and everyone who lives on this blessed land.

His Excellency expressed Sdaya’s pride in the creative national cadres it possesses, who made our dreams come true in Sdaya for the sake of elevating our nation with a spirit inhabited by passion towards building the bright future of our country and continuing to give, build and develop.”

His Excellency stressed that Sdaya faced some challenges in some of its tasks by achieving availability, information security, quality of work, rapid completion, and commitment to partner agencies with a certain level of service. His Excellency reviewed the experts and engineers that Sdaya possesses in the field of systems, infrastructure operation, and information security.

Speech by the Director of the National Information Center

His Excellency the Director of the National Information Center, Dr. Issam bin Abdullah Al-Waqit, also gave a similar speech in which he discussed Sdaya’s efforts with its partners in government agencies in order to support the achievement of digital transformation in the Kingdom through the digitization of government services in order for users to enjoy its services, including the launch of the new phase of the Tawakkalna services application. It includes advanced services that benefit entities and individuals alike.

His Excellency reviewed some of the services provided by the Tawakkalna system since its launch, which created a success story that everyone in the Kingdom is proud of, such as: the number of Tawakkalna users reached more than 31 million users, the services provided were more than 241 services, the number of messages was more than 1.5 billion messages, and more than 652 messages were achieved. 1 million digital wallet reviews.

In turn, the Assistant Director of the National Information Center for the Tawakkalna System, Engineer Saleh bin Salem Musibah, said in his speech that the “Tawakkalna Services” application in its new version will contribute to supporting government agencies and enabling them to achieve their goals through ease of technical connectivity with the application, and greater diversification of the services provided to the beneficiary. Stressing that these services are constantly evolving to improve the user experience.

He explained that “Tawakkalna” provides a set of enablers and accelerators to enable the partners who benefit from it and enhance their digital experience, within the framework of supporting cooperation and integration between various relevant government agencies in the Kingdom to support achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in digital transformation and enhancing the quality of life by facilitating access to services. Which individuals and entities need, while raising the satisfaction rate of citizens, residents, and visitors.

Engineer Saleh Musibah said: The Tawakkalna Services application in its new version will contribute to facilitating and accelerating the use of services provided by government and private agencies.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, an accompanying exhibition was held that included a number of pavilions that showcased the services provided by the Tawakkalna application in its new look.
