Scientists Suggest Existence of Living Dinosaurs on Other Planets – New Study

Jakarta – Researchers say that dinosaurs are still alive today. However, these animals are on another planet.

Launching from I’m detikedua study published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society Journal states that it is possible that several dinosaur-like species lived on other planets far from Earth.

Plus current technological developments make humans able to detect the ‘Jurassic World’ on other planets. It is also possible to detect living dinosaurs on other planets.

The key to detecting this possibility lies in searching for compounds that are not found on Earth today, but were present in the era of the dinosaurs.

Lisa Kaltenegger said the same thing in WIO News, that there was a time when fingerprints were able to make signs of life easier to detect.

“Our current understanding of habitable planets is heavily influenced by Earth’s distinct light fingerprint, but there was a time when this fingerprint was even stronger, making signs of life easier to detect,” said Lisa Kaltenegger.

Planets with High Oxygen, Indicators of the Existence of Dinosaurs

The study also discusses the increase in oxygen levels during the dinosaur era, which could be an indicator of the existence of life on other planets.

In the time of the dinosaurs, Earth had higher oxygen levels, around 30%. These conditions allow complex creatures to grow.

The expedition from the study shows whether a planet is in the Phanerozoic stage. Because if a planet is at that stage, it will allow large and complex life to exist.

“The Phanerozoic is only 12% or so of Earth’s recent history, but it encompasses nearly the entire time of life more complex than microbes and sponges,” said Cornell University scientist Rebecca Payne.

Rebecca Payne also added that large and complex life would have the potential to be the source of the existence of dinosaurs.

“This gives us hope that it will be easier to find signs of life, even large and complex life, elsewhere in the cosmos,” added Rebecca Payne.
