Ahmed Schubert, the presenter of sports programs, threatened the fake tweet that was attributed to him during the past days, commenting on the ruling of the Al-Hilal and Al-Ahly match.
Al-Ahly will visit Al-Hilal next Saturday, as part of the last round of the second group of the African Champions League.
“He took legal action and filed a complaint with the public prosecutor,” Schubert said during his radio program.
He continued: “Who is this sick Satan who wants to repeat the scenario of Egypt and Algeria? What is this demonization that invites you to fabricate WhatsApp talks to destroy relations between countries?”
Schubert invited his followers to verify the authenticity of the tweets attributed to him, confirming that he has a single account authenticated on Twitter.
He added: “Al-Hilal has the right to object to the referee and it is absolutely free, in the end it is a football match,” hoping that Al-Ahly will win and qualify for the 8th round of the Champions League.
Al-Hilal objected to the appointment of Moroccan referee Radouane Gayed to manage the crucial Al-Hilal and Al-Ahly match.
Al-Ahly tops the group with 10 points, followed by Al-Hilal and the coastal star, each with 9 points, then Platinum in the tail of the group with one point.
